Once you’ve connected a calendar (see Connect Google Calendar), open Calendar in the sidebar to see and manage your schedule right inside ServiceBooked. Your events and your ServiceBooked bookings show side by side.

Switch views

Use the Month / Week / Day buttons in the top bar:
  • Month — the classic grid, best for a bird’s-eye view of the whole month.
  • Week — a seven-day time grid with events sized by their duration, plus an all-day strip on top.
  • Day — a single-day time grid for a detailed look at one day.
Week and Day views show a red “now” line so you can see where you are in the day at a glance. Use the arrows (or Today) to move between periods.

Add and edit events

  • New event — click New event, double-click a day in Month view, or click an empty time slot in Week/Day view (it pre-fills that time).
  • Edit — click an event to open it. You can change its title, time, location, description, color, and (when creating) whether it repeats.
Events you create here sync to your connected Google Calendar, and vice versa.

Color-code events

When you create or edit an event, pick a Color from the swatches. The color shows on the event across every view — a quick way to tell appointment types, personal blocks, and follow-ups apart at a glance. Colors sync with your Google Calendar’s own color labels.

Repeating events

When creating an event, set Repeat to Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly, and ServiceBooked creates the whole series for you — no need to add each occurrence by hand. Repeating events show a ↻ badge.
Editing a single occurrence changes just that one; changing a whole series is done in your Google Calendar.

Drag to reschedule

Grab an event and drop it on another day (Month view) or a new time (Week/Day view) to reschedule it — the change saves automatically and keeps the event’s length. Your ServiceBooked bookings aren’t draggable, since their times are managed through the booking flow.

Bookings vs. events

Two kinds of items appear on the calendar:
  • Events — the entries from your connected calendar (blue by default, or whatever color you pick). Urgent items and personal blocks live here.
  • Bookings — appointments booked through ServiceBooked, shown in teal (or red when flagged urgent). Click a booking to jump straight to the customer’s contact record.
Use the Show: Events / Bookings toggle to hide either layer when a busy day gets cluttered.
